Steve Johnson

This journey began over a decade ago. In that time, I have spent time as a volunteer, Community Council Chair, fundraiser, cheerleader, supporter, labor, and a few other roles for our Epilepsy Foundation office.  I have seen the struggles my daughter has endured - physical, emotional, internal and external - with her struggle with Epilepsy and the concurrent pressures she has dealt with. She has struggled with her feelings, and she has struggled with others who thought she was just seeking attention. She was my inspiration for the creation of this foundation. She has taught me that, while everyone can be strong to a point, people will always need support and strength from others - and that is why we are here, to lend our strength and support to all those who need it.
