Chris is the founder of Envoy Wealth Management LLC where he is responsible for the continued growth and innovation of the firm’s holistic wealth management and aligning wealth practices with tailored investment management.
Prior to starting Envoy, Chris worked as a Director of Investments and Financial Advisor at several locations in the Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana area, where he served as the advisor to individuals/families and small business owners of all investment and net worth levels. Chris has extensive experience managing the wealth and affairs of those whose needs range from financially simple to complex.
Chris started his career in financial services back in 2005 and has been working with financial advisory clients since 2010. He began his advising career in Frankfort, IL where he co-managed investment management and day-to-day processes with another advisor. Afterward, Chris served clients in Chicago's booming South Loop neighborhood and then headed out to Northwest Indiana. During his time, Chris has utilized a specialized approach, delivering a broad range of wealth advisory services to his clients, with a concentration in retirement planning, estate planning, and investment management. While he enjoys working with clients from all walks of life, Chris finds it especially fulfilling to work with small business owners and young individuals and their families; two groups that are in especially high demand for sound financial education in today's environment.
Chris earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics from Northern Illinois University. Chris holds multiple registrations in the securities and licenses in the insurance industry and he is an active voice for further expansion of access to financial advice at all age levels.
Outside of business, Chris is passionate about history and making sure that it is correctly preserved for the next generation. Chris is currently the Vice President of the Board of Directors for the Park Forest (IL) Historical Society. Coincidentally, this is the same board that Chris' grandfather, Ray, served on approximately 30 years ago.
Chris resides in Northwest Indiana. In his personal time, Chris enjoys reading books, cooking, watching baseball, studying history, golfing (poorly), and spending time with his wife Megan.
